BMC #4999 Tiger II Tank (2017)

Another fine offering from BMC is this Tiger II tank which, if I'm not mistaken, was originally produced by Classic Toy Soldiers, BMC having since acquired all of the old CTS tooling. Like the Sherman covered yesterday, the 'action' features are minimal: the turret rotates. It too has a wealth of detail molded-in and is also a budget friendly alternative to the pricier collector pieces. It measures 8"L (20.32cm) L / 10" (25.4cm) L to tip of barrel x 4.375" 11.11cm) W x 3.325" (8.44cm) H.

I applied the stickers provided per the instructions to show what the manufacturer intended but if you want accuracy I suggest hitting the Internet and searching out WWII period photographs (do not rely on modern museum repaints as those may not be accurate). To the best of my knowledge, the Germans never painted on the national flag as the stickers suggest, however, draping actual flags over the tops of their vehicles was common practice.
