Kenner 1996 Batman & Robin Rogues Gallery

While melody is off supervising Oma, I broke away for a few minutes to bring you anothe installment of Kenner Batman MicroVerse toys.

We've been looking at Kenner's MicroVerse line the past couple of weeks, specifically their Batman toys. They had other lines as well but obviously it's the Bat-stuff that grabs my attention. Today's set features eight figures in ca 1/72scale. Like so many other hero and villain toy figures these are simply what I call 'posers' - you know, as if they just stood there posing for the sculptor. Why were/are toy companies so reluctant to cast their one-piece hero/villain figures in action poses? Anywho, the set contains:
Batman
Robin
Catwoman
Harley Quinn
Mr. Freeze
Clayface
Scarecrow
Mad Hatter

Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

I kept the figures attached to the box for now as I didn't want to lose any.

Americana Souvenirs and Gifts Blue Gand Gray Action Pack Set #98505 - 50mm Union Figures

Well, today marked the first time my new granddaughter Melody, Meine Kleine Enkelschen, helped me with a blog post. She supervised while I was holding her in my arms :-)

Let's see if we can pick up where we left off. BTW, where did we leave off? I s'pose Civil War stuff is as good as anything to talk about. A few weeks ago I was rummaging about in The Cave and to my surprise came across a couple more bags of early Americana Souvenirs and Gifts header bag ACW figures. Early Americana figures were 50mm and nearly all were Marx knock-offs, pantographed down from 54mm to 50mm. The bag consists of 12 figures in 11 poses. Although the set number is the same for both Union and Confederate and most figures are repeated, there are poses included in this set which weren't in the Confederate bag. Without further ado, let's check out the set. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina :-)
