Today's gonna be a quickie post. Marx had made three tin-litho chicken coops. This one, which first appeared in 1955 is proclaimed in the Sears Christmas Wishbook as "Bigger than ever - now 110 pieces! New Giant Farm Set with Chicken Coop" (I do have the barn, but just haven't gotten around to photographing it yet - Sorry!) The other two coops are smaller and both utilize the same stamping for the coop, but one has the addition of a tin-litho fence. The coop measures 7 1/2" (19.1cm) L x 3 3/4" (9.5cm) W x 3 1/2" (8.9cm) H. Enjoy!
