T. Cohn Fort Comanche Stable

I've had a cold the past few days and have really felt like dookie so this is gonna be a quick post. I checked my list and apparently there hasn't been any T. Cohn (a/k/a Superior) covered here on Toys & Stuff the past couple of years but they did in fact give Marx a run for the money when it came to nicely detailed tin-litho buildings. Most people tend to think of Fort Apache when talking about Old West playsets with forts but T. Cohn made several nice tin-litho forts of their own with large tin centerpieces. The version shown here today has the main building with a block house on the top and was part of the Fort Comanche playset. The base measures 7 1/2" (19.1cm) x 11 3/4"(29.8cm), the overall height 8" (20.3cm). Other versions were sans blockhouse or they had the same shed as used in T. Cohn farms placed atop the roof. Enjoy!
