K-Line Texaco Station

From the 'Forgotten Files' archive comes this nice Texaco filling station the photos for which were taken months before I started this blog. This station, while marketed by K-Line back in, ohhh, the late '90s or early 2000s or so, was not original to K-Line. There were several versions of the station put out by another company in the 1990s (whose name now escapes me) and were later re-marketed by K-Line who sold these as accessories for their O-gauge trains, but I'm here to tell ya they're way too big! If you place a 1/43 scale car on this thing the station would absolutely dwarf it. However, it works perfectly with 1/32 scale vehicles. Because this is not a fully fleshed-out building but rather a 'flat' it really does excel as a shelf display. Enjoy

There are no lights in the building but cardboard bottom can be easily modified or removed to accompany light installation

    1. Thanx Mauther! It really has nice lines - and if I had the talent would probably make a decent paper model :-)

      Cheers From Las Vegas
