I have a bad habit of not referring to some of the reference materials that are right at hand. Such was the case with these diminutive fire engines. I had the maker listed as 'Unknown' until I checked out Walt Hiltshew and Trip Riley's 'Pictorial Guide to Plastic Cars & Trucks' (the link to order the guide is on the right sidebar of the blog) and it is listed as Lido. The trucks measure 3 1/8" (7.9cm) L x 1 1/8" (2.9cm) W x 1" (2.5cm) H and you can see a size comparison below with the Ross Tool and Manufacturing Fire Engine which is 4 3/4" (12.1cm) L. Like most of the hard plastic vehicles made during the 1950s, these came in a variety of bright, fun colors and here we see white and yellow. They're nice little additions to the stable of Nifty '50s toy fire engines. Enjoy!
They Are Very Nice Love it :) Bettina :)
