This next series of posts will pretty much wrap up the year 1979 and what a year it was! New to the Air Force, learning a new job, getting used to desert life, and playing tourist! Dang :-)
I'm gonna start the series with a few B&W pics. These were part of a roll taken for my photography class at Victor Valley College. A part of the class was learning how to develop and print our own photos and here was the few shots taken at the San Diego Zoo. This would be the first of - I believe - two visits to the zoo while stationed at George AFB. I really like zoo's but didn't often get a chance to visit them, so it was a lot of fun to go to the Milwaukee County Zoo and the San Diego Zoo in the same year. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
