Here's the last of the five Kellogg's Corn Flakes K.F.D. cereal premiums offered back in 1956-57. This is the one I didn't know about until a random search on eBay caught my eye. After buying the first four vehicles years ago I gave up the search thinking that there were only four vehicles to begin with, But now I know there were five. In the coming weeks I hope to post a little project that's been in the works for the past couple of months. As usual, it's a project that should have only taken a couple of weeks but has already dragged on for several months. Anywho, stay tuned to this station for more! Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
That's a beautiful looking plastic fire truck Ed. Or is it a tender. I'm never sure. I loved simple plastic toys like this as a kid.Great photography as usual.
ReplyDeleteThanx for the kudos Woodsy! Not having the time to research the different types of fire engines I'm relying on the photos to tell the story. I called it a 'ladder truck' but is that what it really is - dunno??? I never had these as a kid but remember seeing the commercials and always wanted them. It's nice being able to have them now!
