I actually really like old cars and trucks which have been 'customized' by previous owners. Back in the day there were no fancy spot-on perfect diecast replicas and nearly everything you bought was either one solid color or perhaps there was some sloppy (by today's standards) overlay of silver as we've seen on many of the vehicles shown here on the blog. Occasionally they would be molded in several colors, like the Gilmark Build-A-Cars featured recently but by-and-large what ya got was a solid colored body with black, silver, or white wheels. Today's Renwal bus from the '50s is all yellow with white wheels with details added later in red. It measures 4.5" (10.16cm) L. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Renwal #123 School Bus Blue HP
Here's a quick post to help fill in some of the blank spots this week It's been a slow week for me and I haven't really done anything for the blog even though there's plenty of photos to edit - just bein' lazy is all. Today we have a nice little school bus from Renwal from the early 1950s, the #123 School bus is a nice light blue hard plastic. Renwal also has a #124 bus which is a city coach type of bus. Our school bus 4 1/2" (11.4cm) L. Enjoy!
