Hasbro Army Mini-truck with Pom Pom Gun (3in) HP

Back in September and October of last year I was hot-&heavy into posting these military mini-trucks. However, true to form, one truck slipped through the cracks, this 3" mini-truck in hard plastic from Hasbro. This thing came as part of a job lot and to my surprise it was made by Hasbro. Up until receiving this I had no idea they made these small trucks. Well, now I know. I haven't pursued tracking down other Hasbro mini-trucks because other collecting interests have taken precedence, but maybe one day...

...or not!

Old Photos: A Look Back At Some of My Superhero Collection

For one year back in 2011-12 I was really big into the Hasbro 4" tall superhero figures. From Nov 2011 to Dec 2012 we featured seventeen different figures here on Toys and Stuff. Then I stopped. I still had five more in unopened packages that were never taken out and photographed. For me the whole superhero craze had simply taken me down another path. Instead of acquiring more of these large figures, I went with smaller ones instead, concentrating my efforts on mostly 1/64 or 1/43 scale Batmobiles an superhero vehicles. So what the heck, I have these photos of the figures still in there packages, might as well share them. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Hasbro Fearless Fireman Game Truck

Okay here's one that, even for me, takes the prize for procrastination. W-a-y the heck back on 17 Oct 2010 - literally the week after I started this blog - I did a post on Hasbro's Fearless Fireman game. The game, from 1957, was so cool! It had a cardboard 'burning' building, hapless victims, firemen, and fire trucks and Hasbro touted its utility as being a game or stand-alone toy. Then, I got more pieces to complete the set and posted an update on 28 Oct 2011. And for reasons I still can't explain, these photos of the fire engine were never posted even though they were taken the year prior to the start of the blog...

..here they are!

Hasbro 2010 #10961 Transformers - Lockdown

Sometimes I get toys in as part of job lots and really have no use for them, but photograph them anyway and then give 'em away. Here's one I kept just long enough to photograph because it was in really good shape, then gave away to the thrift store. It's a non-transforming Hot Wheels-type Transformer. Yup, just a diecast car with an image of Lockdown molded underneath that came with a bunch of other stuff. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
