More Goodyear Blimp

Friday, the Goodyear blimp re-appeared over the Las Vegas Valley. This time it was here on the north side of the Valley much closer to home and hovered for around 7 hours over basically the same spot!! Good grief that must be boring LOL That gave Bettina plenty of time to get off a few good pics (try 700 pics!!!). I'm only gonna post a few :-)  Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Goodyear Blimp Over Da Hood & Full Beaver Moon (Sort of)

The Goodyear blimp paid Las Vegas a visit yesterday and Bettina was able to catch it. It wasn't actually in our neck of the cactus but further south in the Valley. It made a long, wide, slow loop towards the northwest before disappearing. The shot is from far away so it's a tad bit fuzzy.

Love this moody, clouded-in shot of last night's moon by Bettina. Technically the full moon isn't until tonight, so last night was kind of a preview :-) It was cloudy here in the Valley which is sometimes good for those great spooky type of moon pics.
