Soldier Bear Police Action Playset 2

Here's the last of the Fire and Emergency related playsets I had bought - and sold - available exclusively from Army and Air Force Exchange outlets about six years ago or so. Contents are very similar to the set I posted yesterday and like that set were molded in mostly a blue or white soft plastic. Enjoy!

Soldier Bear Police Action Playset 1

Last Thursday we highlighted a nice little playset available exclusively from Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) outlets. That playset was primarily a Fire and Emergency themed set, today we'll take a quick look at a Police Action themed set, one of two different available at the time (approx 2005). There are many like items in both sets and many of the vehicles are the same, except in blue vs. red for the Fire and Emergency set. This set too is molded all in soft plastic. I no longer have any of these sets and the lone photos were taken in order to sell them. They all bear a resemblance to similar sets sold at Wal-Mart and were quite likely made or distributed by the same company. So, here's the first Police Action playset - Enjoy!

Soldier Bear Fire and Emergency Deluxe Play Set

Here's another post which falls under the heading, "Toys I have known" or rather, toys that I used to own but have since gotten rid of. This is a play set sold exclusively in AAFES (Army and Air force Exchange Service) BX's (Base Exchanges) and PX's (Post Exchanges) under the AAFES 'Soldier Bear' brand name. The photo shown below is the only one I took of the set but you can see that it is jam packed full of vehicles, helicopters, boats, figures, and accessories all in soft plastic. The figures are about 54mm while the vehicles are smaller. Now, while I said the sets are sold exclusively through AAFES outlets, they bear a striking similarity to like sets sold at Wal-Mart. I have no doubt they are made or distributed by the same manufacturers' and only the packaging and some set contents differ.  Enjoy!
