Eldon No. 902 Cargo Plane Vehicles: Missile Launch Truck - OD SP

Here's the last of the three vehicles which came with Eldon's large No. 902 Cargo Plane, the Missile Launch Truck. All three of these olive drab vehicles would normally have come with the all-silver version of the cargo plane not the red-white-&-blue version I have, but I haven't yet tried searching for the correct red-white-&-blue vehicles (and I'm not sure I'm even gong to try - I'm thankful to have these). My sample is missing the missile (could've sworn I saw that thing in a box somewhere) and measures: 4.75" (12.06cm) L x 1.75" (4.44cm) W x 1.625" (4.12cm) H (4"/10.16cm H with launch rack raised). Eldon No. 902 Cargo Plane Vehicles: Armoured Car - OD

This second Eldon vehicle included with the No. 902 Cargo Plane, was an odd choice for inclusion into a U.S. military set. It closely resembles the T-17 Staghound Armored Car which, although designed and built in the United States, was never used by U.S. forces! It was however widely used by British and Commonwealth forces. The toy measures: hull 3" (7.62cm) L x 1.5" (3.81cm) W x 1.5" (3.81cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Eldon No. 850:98 U.S. Navy Cargo Plane Vehicles: Troop Transport Truck - Red SP

The No. 850:98 U.S. Navy Cargo Plane (the smaller of the two Eldon cargo seaplanes) came with three vehicles: Tank, Troop Transport Truck, and Jeep. As I don't have the Jeep, in tomorrow's post we'll start looking at the large vehicles that came with the larger plane.  This diminutive Troop Transport Truck measures: 2.125" (5.39cm) L x .75" (1.90cm) W x .875" (2.22cm) H. Like the tank, it is a one-piece casting with no rolling wheels or operating features. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
