Back to Hogwarts: Spin Master #6071561 Harry Potter Wand & Stand

It turns out that the last Spin Master wand I'll be posting is actually the first one in the series. Oh well, as I didn't buy the five wands in the series all at once, I photographed them and posted them a bit out of order. Like Dumbledore's Elder Wand which I posted last week, this one to measures 11.75"L (29.84cm).

Spin Master #6071562 Hermione Granger Wand & Stand

Here's an interesting wand variation I saw at a local store. It includes the wand, a stand with Hogwarts emblem, and a small metal figurine of Hermione's cat, Crookshanks. It's smaller than the Spirit Halloween wands measuring only 11.5" (29.21cm) L vs the 13.5" (34.29cm) length of the Spirit Halloween's. After unboxing this, I couldn't help but think that more time, effort, and money was expended in the rather self-indulgent packaging than in the wand itself. See for yourselves. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

The wand is bent and should be straight. 

When assembled the stand is quite nice with its Hogwarts emblem and small metal rendition of Crookshank. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm guessing the stand will work fine with the larger Spirit Halloween wands

When I bought my first Harry Potter wands at Spirit Halloween last year, I naively thought that I would only pick up wands from the main characters - until I realized there are a hundred main characters! 😄 Well, it seems like it anyways. Okay, so what are my collecting goals now?...

When we visited the Spirit Halloween store just prior to Halloween, I picked up several Harry Potter themed items. One of them was this Voldemort's wand. You may be asking, "Ed, what are you going to do with these wands?" My answer: "I dunno!" Heck you don't have to do anything with your the stuff you collect (although a lot of things are indeed fun to play with) because collections are just that - collections, assemblages, compilations, agglomerations, accumulations, acquisitions!
