In 1976 Multiple reissued several of the Golden Astronaut toys under the "2005 and Beyond" banner. According to SpaceX Central, the tooling appears to have been modified slightly when these toys are compared to original GA toys. There were only two carded sets issued, each with two toys. I only have one of the carded sets. Also SpaceX Central mentions that there was a boxed set but there are no photos of it extent out there in Internet land. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Multiple Toymakers Golden Astronaut Super Set No. 3202 - 2nd Set Late Version
I was fortunate enough to get another boxed Golden Astronaut Super Set - this time the later version with die-cut cut-outs on the box cover. You can find out a bit more about this set at SpaceX Central. The set contents were pretty rough and some pieces were missing so for these photographs I fleshed-out the set with spares. Fortunately, like the other boxed set, the purple terrain piece was intact! Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Multiple Toymakers Golden Astronaut Super Set No. 3202
This was the set to have if you were a young'un into Golden Astronaut toys. This 20" (50.8cm) square box has all of the small toys offered on the cards and five figures but of course is missing the larger centerpiece toys like the MLP or Moon Base. What's nice is the vacu-formed 10" (25.4cm) square Moonscape that came with this set only. Like all vacu-form terrain pieces from any of the toymakers, this one too is fragile and I'm fortunate enough to have it intact. It comes in an odd purple color vs. shades of white, gray, and black but it is a toy after all and when the GA toys are placed on it it looks just fine for what it is. SpaceX Central has a good write-up on this set with a bit more info.
This just about wraps up the photo essays for the Multiple Toymakers Golden Astronaut series of toys. I have a couple more items coming in the mail which will flesh out the series a bit more but until then I'll be posting some other things. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
Okay, I now know that some of the toys are in the wrong place and that will be duly corrected :-)

Multiple Toymmakers Golden Astronaut Figures
This isn't quite the end of the Golden Astronaut posts. I have one more set almost ready to post and am awaiting another one in the mail so for now we'll kind of do a loose wrap-up of the series with pix of the Astronauts. More complete photo essays of these guys have already been posted as part of my Triang SpaceX series of blogs so this is just the short version. Both lines of toys featured the same figures. Enjoy! Multiple Toymaker's Golden Astronaut - Stage IV Interplanetary Patrol Series Set No. 914
Multiple was a master at repackaging their toys. Long time readers will remember all the packaging iterations the ring-hand figures took, along with the tanks and other toys that have appeared on the blog - and that was just the tip of the iceberg! Well, they did the same with the Golden Astronaut toys. Each of the four Stages had it's own 3-pack on a border card featuring the smaller toys. This set - No. 914 - is for Stage IV and includes the Pleasure Cruiser, Space Command Ship, and Nuclear Freighter II. You can see the whole lot here on SpaceX Central. So far, this is the only 3-pack I have. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Multiple Toymakers Golden Astronaut - Stage IV Interplanetary Patrol Set No. 1525 (Includes: Nuclear Pulse Space Station, Space Command Ship, and Pleasure Cruiser)
The Golden Astronaut series did not include the Nuclear Pulse Space Station as a separate sale toy. Instead it was bundled in this window box Interplanetary Patrol Set No. 1525 and included: the Nuclear Pulse Space Station, Space Command Ship, and Pleasure Cruiser. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
My set was missing the two figures that came with it
Look at the price tag - this was reduced to $.99 at one time!!
