Tri-ang Spacex Tractor T-5 'Customized' as USAF Tow Truck

I meant to post this when I was hot-&-heavy into the Spacex/Golden Astronaut series, but then, you guessed it...

...I got distracted!

This was bought oodles of years ago because it's slight modification intrigued me. It's basically a later color Tri-ang Spacex Tractor T-5 / Golden Astronaut Terrain Tiger with the addition of USAF decals. The photo's themselves were taken back in 2018. It's a nifty little piece for sure and does kind of fit in with all the military toys I've been posting of late. Oh, BTW, I will have another space toy to post hopefully tomorrow or the next day.

Tri-ang SpaceX Superset 1 No. 1175 - Pt 17 (Final) ACCESSORIES: Vacu-form Moonscape and 6 Figures

The final installment of our Tri-ang Superset 1 # 1175. The Superset is all about the spaceships and vehicles, so there's isn't much by way of extra accessories. The main 'extra' is the vacu-formed Moonscape in white. It's a nice piece but unfortunately, the way it's molded leaves very few flat spots to position figures on and it's a bear trying to do photo set-ups. It measures: 13" (33.02cm) W x 10.75" (27.3cm) D x 1.75" (4.44cm) H. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed

Out of 13 possible poses Tri-ang made, six figures were included in this set and would have been chosen at random off the assembly line and tossed into the box. My set had multiples of the same figure but I have since swapped them out so that all six are different

Tri-ang SpaceX Superset 1 No. 1175 - Pt 16 OUTER SPACE TRAVEL SERIES Space Patrol 1

When Tri-ang licensed Multiple Toymakers to sell the Spacex line here Stateside under the 'Golden Astronaut' banner, a few pieces underwent changes. Under Multiple, the 'Space Patrol 1' became the 'Space Command Ship'. My Tri-ang Space Patrol 1 has the earlier lighter blue engine nacelle cones. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed
