Britains 54mm 1st Series Foot Knight No. 695 with Decal on Shield

I posted one of these figures back in May but it was missing the applique' on the shield. This figure is in all the same colors as the one posted back in May but now that I've got one with shield applique' it's nice to be able to show what a complete figure looks like. Enjoy! Britains 54mm 1st Series Foot Knight No. 694 - Red Tunic

Back in May I posted the six figure set of Britains Series 1 Foot Knights which included this spear thrusting dude in yellow tunic. Essentially I took him out of the package and and photographed him not even realizing he was wielding a spear from one of Britains American Indian figures!! DOH! LOL. 

Since then I acquired another of these figures with a correct spear but sporting a red tunic. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Britains 54mm Deetail Mounted Knight No. 700

When I started this series of Britains Deetail Mounted Knights I was missing No. 700. Not any more!! Latching on to a job lot of Knights with a No. 700 in it was a bonus this past couple of weeks and I'm glad to be able to share it. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Britains 54mm Deetail Mounted Knight No. 702 - Modified

I enjoy modified toys and have a bunch of them as part of my train collection. They give you additional variations you otherwise wouldn't have. While some modifications are pretty sophomoric others are quite well done as in today's figure. Now here's the second mounted Knight in this series that I believe was modified, and it was done using the same type of large shield, but this time the shield was glued on the Knight's back instead of his arm and covers up the much smaller shield molded into the figure.
