Tim-Mee Toys (Modern) #67871 Galaxy Laser Team with Star Patrol - Pt 3 50mm Pose 2 Black SP

Again, the way I divided my set was: black = Galaxy Laser Patrol, silver = Star Patrol. Why? Just cuz. Hero Boy here is either a reference to Hans Solo, Luke Skywalker, or perhaps even Buck Rogers as the influences from those movies and TV shows are obvious in the original Tim-Mee sculpts from 1978. Processed Plastic Armored Car No. 2190 - OD SP

Here's an armored car from Processed Plastic that I bought in the late-'90s to put on my first Little Green Army Man themed train layout. It was this layout, with all of it's vintage Army toys that actually got me into toy collecting having brought back long buried memories of all the cool toys me and my friends had as kids - and I wanted more. The rest is history :-)

I haven't really covered much by way of Processed Plastic / Tim Mee army toys here on the blog because I don't really have a whole lot, but over the years I did manage to gather a few kinda cool items so perhaps it's time to start featuring them here on the blog. This toy measures 6 1/4" (15.87cm) L x 2 1/2" (6.35cm) W x 2 3/4" (6.98cm)  H and is still available today under the Tim Mee brand name and sold by Little Green Men. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Tim-Mee Toys 4-Wheeled Jeep

Feed the blog Ed, feed the blog! As busy as it's been this past few weeks sometimes I forget I have a blog! DOH! Okay, okay, so here's some pics of a nice Tim-Mee Toys Jeep I picked up at a thrift store last year. It's missing the steering wheel but otherwise is in decent shape. It fits in just right with all the MPC stuff that's been posted of late measuring 5" (12.70cm) L x 2 5/8" (6.66cm) W x 1 5/8" (4.12cm) H. I've not seen a Jeep with four wheels in the year but know I people who have so it's definitely based on a real thing.
