Today's Armies of Middle Earth, Soldiers and Scenes set by Play Along Toys is 'Companions of the Ringbearer' featuring Merry, Gandalf, and Pippin. The three adventurers are clothed in their Fellowship of the Ring garb and Gandalf sports a removable hat! Nice touch. Enjoy!

Attack at Amon Hen Pt 2 Merry

Today on Sci-Fi and Fantasy Saturday, let's continue our look at Play Along Toys, Armies of Middle Earth, Lord of The Rings 'Soldiers and Scenes' series of toys. Each 'Soldiers and Scenes' package comes with three figures and is often times based on a particular event in the movie as is this scene, the attack at Amon Hen. remember it was at Amon Hen that Boromir went down - felled by Orc arrows while defending the two Hobbits. All of these figures cry out for some kind of diorama and I would like to put something together one day because they deserve to be displayed in a more dynamic setting. Last week we started looking at the 'Attack at Amon Hen' by featuring Boromir. Today we'll look at Merry. Enjoy!
