Marx Training Center Figures - Putting Them To Use: Running the Checklist
It's been a bit dodgy finding airplanes that look suitable or okay with these figures. I paired the Marx figure with a Processed Plastics F-16 and he looks good enough with it.

Processed Plastic / Tim-Mee Toys Galaxy Laser Team 54mm SP (1978) UPDATE: Original X-Wing Spaceship Now in The Collection
I covered the Processed Plastic / Tim-Mee Toy original Galaxy Laser Team last year July but was missing an original X-Wing Spaceship. However, I covered the modern re-issue in March of this year which did include spaceships in both black and silver. Here's the really stupid part: I bought this original back in March and even photographed it back then, but forgot to post it!! ARRRRGH! Why do I do that?? Anywho, here its is now. It measures 3.5" (8.89cm) L x 2.25" (5.71cm) wingspan x 1.5" (3.81cm) H.

Ajax 80mm Space Figures and Space Sets - Pt 10 Ajax #50784 Missile Set
Shown in the book 'Blast Off - Rockets, Robots, Ray Guns, and Rarities from The Golden Age of Space Toys!' by S. Mark Young, Steve Duin, and Mike Richardson, this is the Ajax #50784 Missile Set. Right up front I have to tell you - I cheated! Unfortunately, I didn't buy these pieces as a 'set', but rather gathered the components from my collection of Ajax spacemen and Processed Plastic missiles/rockets. As a fatter-of-mact, this was the only missile/rocket in my collection with the correct second stage.
Looking at the first two photos below, you'll notice the 2nd stage is tapered, but most of my PP examples are nearly perpendicular except for the one I used for the set. Also, the extract from 'Blast Off' shows the upper stages without any kind of firing or launch mechanism. On my sample, the original had a launching final stage as well as a teeny-tiny satellite (not used in the photos). Moreover, the peel-&-stick appliques' are different on mine than those shown in the book extract.
This isn't the end of my Ajax coverage as I still have to photograph all those other figures I discovered out in The Cave this past week. That said, it might still be a few days/week before I start posting those.

Ajax 80mm Space Figures and Space Sets - Pt 8 Ajax #47988 Astronaut Rocket Set with Blue Second Stage
This is one of a couple of interesting sets utilizing Ajax figures as well as Royal Toy Atomic Cap Bomb and Processed Plastic rocket ships (or parts of them). These were shown in the book 'Blast Off - Rockets, Robots, Ray Guns, and Rarities from The Golden Age of Space Toys!' by S. Mark Young, Steve Duin, and Mike Richardson. The sets in the photo only show silver-gray spacemen and I believe these were not offered directly by Ajax, but rather a cake supply or decorating business who utilized the various components from different companies. In today's post, the lower portion, or first stage of the rocket, is the Royal cap bomb, while the upper parts are PP.

Processed Plastic / Tim-Mee Toys Galaxy Laser Team 54mm SP (1978) - Pt 9 FINAL Pose #8: Robot
We've reached the end of the line for this series on the original Galaxy Laser Team figures. This last-but-not-least figure is the little robot and is an obvious nod to Star Wars C3PO. The smallest of the bunch, it measures only 35mm H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
