SunnySide ('SS' - China) '49 Ford Woody 1/38 scale Chassis No. SS-537

I bought this SunnySide Woody simply because it was a larger scale than the other 'SS" vehicles and I just wanted something to compare with...

..it's larger

:-)

I may not use this on my regular train layouts, but I've already used it on my Polar Express Christmas layout. The scale appears underneath the chassis along with the other identifying data. Not only that, but it's nearly the same size as the Wondershop (Target) Woody!

SunnySide ('SS' - China) No. 308 (Chassis No. SS-301) 1928 Bugatti Type 44 - Silver/Red

I'm always coming across interesting tidbits when photographing these SunnySide vehicles. Back in September 2017 I posted a yellow version of this car with a chassis number underneath (SS-4707). This was a loose vehicle I had gotten from the hobby shop:

Then, just last month, I posted two of these that were a part of the 'Antique Classic 3' and neither one had a chassis number underneath:

And that brings us to today's post and this nice Silver/Red version bought from fleaBay last year. It not only has the chassis number but the vehicle identification underneath!

Our next post will be one of SunnySide's larger scale vehicles that I bought just to see how it compares in size to the rest of the cars I've been posting. Until then - Enjoy! Opa FRitz

SunnySide ('SS' - China) No. 312 (Chassis No. SS-302-4) Top Up - Red - Mercedes? Last Post For the 'Antique Classic 3' Set!

YAY!! We finally crossed the finish line for the cars in the 'Antique Classic 3' set and I am totally glad LOL Now, that's fine and all, but we're not quite through with SunnySide vehicles just yet. I still have two cars and three busses to post so - if I'm up to it this week - we should be finished by this coming Friday. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
