I'm pretty much calling this project finished. As said in a previous post, only one of the two towers was used for simplicity's sake and the cross was left off. It's an Orthodox (Russian? Greek?) style with globes on the three terminus' and right now I don't really feel like trying to do that much finnicky cutting. The graphics have enough of a weathered look to them for my purposes so I didn't alter them any by adding spiders, or broken window panes, or whatever. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

New Paper Project For Halloween: The Ancient Church Of Two Towers Paper Model - Pt 2
I have been busier than a one-legged man in a hospital diarrhea ward! Life is not slowing down and I feel like I'm in the middle of the maelstrom!
That being said, it's been fun: trying to set up this year's Halloween display, taking pictures, taking video's, carving pumpkins, roasting pumpkin seeds. Oh yeah, and that annoying thing called 'a job' - all keeping me busy as heck! This project was started several days ago and this is about as far as it's gotten. To be fair, there's a bit more bracing added than what's shown in the photos, but as of this writing the roof still hasn't been glued on. The photos just show the roof loosely placed on the walls to give me an idea of what it'll look like. The kit is designed to have two towers but only one will be installed for simplicity and so I don't spend the rest of the year on the build LOL
Enjoy! Opa Fritz

New Paper Project For Halloween: The Ancient Church Of Two Towers Paper Model
Welll, I started another paper model project for Halloween: The Ancient Church Of Two Towers Paper Model.
For the past couple of years I had been using this haunted gothic church from Ravensblight.com but it's really small - more appropriate for N-scale trains and figures - and I really wanted something a bit 'cozier' as it were.
After a quick search on the web I came across this project by Mauther in Brazil on his excellent site Papermau.blogspot.com It's a site which I am familiar with, but during that past few years my interest in paper modeling had been waning so I haven't visited Mauther for some time now.
Specifically, the model itself can be found here: The Ancient Church of Two Towers
