It's A Small World After All: Empire Fuel Truck - Red HP

Next up in our look at Empire Plastics line of small trucks is this staple of filling station setups, the fuel truck. Whether it be gas or oil, these tanker trucks were - and still are - a mainstay of our society. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Hubley No. 406 Oil Tanker

From the 'forgotten files' archive comes this Hubley No. 406 Oil Tanker. I bought this years ago to flesh out any scene with my service and gas stations, took photos and then promptly forgot about them LOL Oh well. if I'm not mistaken this was rather cheap becaus of its obvious condition issues. It's probably a ripe candidate for a re-paint but what the heck, the wear-&-tear is a badge of honor, the sign of a survivor of many play hours. It measures 5 1/8" (13.01cm) L x 2" (5.08cm) W x 2 1/8" (5.39cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Eastwood Automobilia / Ertl 1/43 Diecast 1956 Chevy Fuel Delivery Truck - Lionelville Oil Co.

Next in our look at diecast Lionel vehicles made from about 1994 - 2000-ish is this 1/43 scale 1956 Chevrolet Fuel Delivery Truck No. 338500 and lettered for the Lionelville Oil Co. This was another Eastwood Automobilia limited edition vehicle made by Ertl. Unlike the other vehicles posted so far, this one includes two metal figures which I decided not to take out of the still-sealed bag. The truck measures 6 1/8" (15.55cm) L x 2 3/16" (5.53cm) W x 2 1/16" (5.23cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
