Here we have Rex Racer's Mach 4 which in the cartoon was destroyed killing Rex Racer in the process - or so everyone thought. Rex survived and went 'undercover' as a mysterious driver who kept close tabs on his little brother Speed. In the movie he is portrayed as a hired gun for corporate interests but actually works undercover along with Inspector Detector to expose the corruptness which has crept into the racing scene. In the movie Mach 4 was not destroyed. The special feature in this car is activated by the pull-back friction motor. As the car is released a 'roar' sound emerges from underneath. Enjoy!
