Watch out for this guy - he's a two-fisted shooter. This particular figure suffers from a basic problem with injection molded toys in that the plastic didn't fill the mold 100%. It's evident in his stunted antenna's, ray gun in his left hand, and the base. These 'short shots' are quite common in the toy world and I have several in the hoard. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

GIANT Plastics Corp. (aka GIANT of Hong Kong) / Helen of Toy Space Toys - Pt 3 PFPC No. 57 Oct 98
I kind of got ahead of myself in my posts. This was meant to be the first post in the series but because I had saved it elsewhere on the computer, and not in my 'GIANT' folder, I forgot about it.
The line of GIANT 1/72 scale figures was covered quite nicely in the now defunct Plastic Figure & PLAYSET Collector magazine issue no.57 (Oct 98). Now, to be sure GIANT made other toys - after all, they were a toy company - but it's their line of military figures which captured our imagination and attention. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Colourforms Repo "Outer Space Men" - Pt 2 Alpha 7, the Man from Mars
The original Colourforms 'Outer Space Men' were quite varied in size and this guy - Alpha 7 - was the smallest of the lot. In the repo version, they're all nearly the same size which, quite frankly, I personally prefer. In addition, the originals were quite colorful while the repos shared an overall silver color with different colored accenting. For example, Alpha 7 here was originally an all green color and included a helmet. No helmets are included in the repos. I'll be posting these in alphabetical sequence by the names originally gave to them. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
