MPC made some awesome toys back in the day and I had a bunch of them as a kid, but while I had their cowboys and Indians the stagecoach eluded me. Stagecoaches came in many styles from various manufacturers and not all resembled the Wells Fargo type that we tend to associate with the breed, but Wells Fargo did have a similar one to MPC's as shown in the Wikipedia image below. Apparently the earliest reference to stagecoaches comes from around 1200 in England so they were around a lot longer before they became famous in countless Western films and TV shows of the 20th century.
MPC's version is meant to accomodate their 60mm ringhand figures and measures 9 1/2" (24.13cm) L overall with the horse hitched up x 4" (10.16cm) H x 2 1/2" (6.35cm) W. While I was able to place repo bandanas on the figures, the repo hats I had lept popping off! LOL Oh well. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
