A couple of weeks ago I posted the Pyro F7U Cutlass which is a little bit smaller than this Marx version, but they both share one glaring inaccuracy - they both have U.S. Air Force markings. The Cutlass never saw service with the Air Force, it was meant to be a carrier-based plane for the Navy! The plane measures 8 1/4" (21cm) L x 8 1/4" (21cm) WS x 2 3/4" 97cm) H. This version of the Cutlass sits with the front end slightly raised vs. the Pyro version which sits horizontal. This is a little bit closer to the prototype whose front landing gear was so tall the plane almost looks like a caricature. Enjoy!
