Renwal No. 102 Coupe - Red HP (1950-56)

I could've sworn I had posted all my vintage plastic vehicles from the '50s years ago, but as I peruse the dark corners of my computer, more and more unposted photos are showing up. Case in point: this nice Renwal No. 102 Coupe in red HP made back in the day when I was a young'un from 1950 to 1956. It measures 4 1/4" (10.79cm) L x 1 1/2" (3.81cm) W x 1 5/8" (4.12cm)  H. Well heck. Okay, let's post it now. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

"Oh Give Me A Home, Where The Buffalo Roam…" - MPC Buffalo

"Oh Give Me A Home, Where The Buffalo Roam…"

...and I'll show you a mess! LOL

MPC did a nice Buffalo sculpt to compliment their Old West playsets and toys, but quite frankly it's a bit small at only 1 3/8" (3.49cm)  H. Even when shown next to one of MPC's 45mm figures you can tell it's short, but it's nice to keep the Western theme going with vintage MPC toys so - Enjoy! Opa Fritz

On the far left is an MPC 45mm non-ringhand Indian

A few shots taken at Bonnie Springs, Old Nevada (now closed) which we had been to quite a few times.
Bison are large creatures. I'm over 6ft tall and on those visits when this sucker was up close to the fence he was as tall as me

Thes purple buffalo's were offered by NABISCO as cereal premiums

My herd so far - gotta do something with these

Play Time - Time To break Out Some of These MPC Toys and Have Fun

I loved my MPC ringhand figures as a kid - even as frustrating as they were trying to get the headgear and weapons to stay put. LOL In any case, it's no different today than it was then, but my supply of original accessories is thin, so outfitting the troops with repo's from MicShaun's Closet helps tremendously.

The story behind this shot is: the troops from Fort Frontier need to head into town (town name yet to be determined) to buy supplies for the fort. While there is an uneasy peace with the local tribes, there's been a resurgence in bandits, therefore diligence is required. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

New Ray 1/43 Scale Diecast 1958 Buick Century Convertible (Pink)

In the vein of this latest round of vehicle posts, here's a nice little Buick I picked up for the train layout some years back and photographed five years ago. I think this car was bought loose - without any box or other packaging. My cars and trucks tend to show up on the layout and stay for a while, then I swap them out for others. Sometimes I like to go the diecast route, other times I like using the vintage plastic stuff, but it's all fun. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

not a very good shot I'm afraid
