As I said the other day, now that our trusty old Canon camera went kaput, we're relying on a FujiFilm FinePix S2100HD and we're going through somewhat of a learning curve. It does well enough during the day but night shots/Moon shots are giving us grief. Even after setting it on spot metering the Moon is coming out looking like the Sun! HOWEVER, that being said Bettina took a series of pictures of the Moon going down amidst the clouds and it has a nice ethereal effect. This time around we didn't rely on Google's built-in .gif generator to create movement. Rather, I loaded the photos into Microsoft's 'Live Movie Maker' program, selected all, then set each image for 1/2 second duration thereby creating the short movie seen here in sort of a stop-action photography technique. Enjoy!
