Almost all the figures have holes in their feet to accommodate the pegs sticking up from the bases. Basically it's a good system, but as this photo shows, not all of the figures fit perfectly onto the base - this figure cannot be pressed down any further without it popping off the base.

All the weapons used in FOV's line of figures are separately applied details glued to the figures. and are sometimes packaged with the figure sets as 'smalls' (what I call the small detail pieces that were included in each set).

Here's the second generic American pose from FOV. As all the bases are exactly the same (and a bit large), it would be best to pop them off for use in a diorama. They're fine for table top gaming but beware - often times the figures have a hard time staying attached to the base. None of the figures I photographed for this series is glued to a base - they're all loose.
