Okay, these are terrible shots! The figure is a much lighter yellow than depicted here but I was hoping that by adjusting contrast, brightness, etc. that I could bring out more details. I ended up with two red NABISCO Sky King Sheriff cereal premiums. While one remains in its natural state, the other had been repainted (rather crudely) by a previous owner. When I see things like that I always like to think of the effort a young fan of the show put into it and make it more 'realistic'. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed
How many of us remember chewing on toys as a kids? Welll, it looks like some young 'un found The Sheriff mighty tasty! 😀Because of his condition, I only did an 8-pose essay on this particular figure. One of these years I'm gonna have to replace him with one in better condition.
In the series Ewing Mitchell portrayed Sheriff Mitch Hargrove. As the Sheriff of the fictional town of Grover, AZ, he would call upon Sky King to help in any number of situations, like finding lost hikers or chasing bad guys. Sky, or his staff at the Flying Crown Ranch, would always end up lending their hand to the sheriff using their Cessna in the hunt. Be Blessed and Relish Life
