Taylor Made Trucks & New Ray #TMT-18420 Army-02 1/32 Scale Battery Operated Flatbed with #TMT-420T M4A3 Sherman Tank (New Ray) (ca1999) - Pt 2

The tank included with the Thomas Made Trucks Army flatbed is the exact same kind of tank I posted back on 3 Nov, only this one came in special packaging and bears TMT's item number.

New Ray #6115 M4A3 posted on 3 Nov.

The packaging used in TMT's Army flatbed. Notice that while 'New Ray' is not mentioned on the packaging it does state 'Distributed by Taylor Made Trucks' not 'Made by Taylor Made Trucks'.
NOTE: These are all new photos for this toy, I did not re-use the photos from the earlier post.

As it comes packaged with the flatbed.

The dimensions are the same as for the previously posted Sherman: 6.5" (16.51cm) L x 3" (7.62cm) W x 3.25" (8.25cm) H,

Taylor Made Trucks & New Ray #TMT-18420 Army-02 1/32 Scale Battery Operated Flatbed with #TMT-420T M4A3 Sherman Tank (New Ray) (ca1999) - Pt 1

That is one heckuva title for this post but quite frankly, after looking at all of TMT's packaging it just came out this way. I s'pose "TMT Flatbed with Tank" would've been better.

Anywho, these flatbed trucks - and TMT in general - were popular back in the late '90s. They also made a flatbed hauling a Lionel caboose that I almost bought back in the day but decided this was a better fit for my collecting interest. The tank is the exact same New Ray #61115 I posted just a couple of weeks ago. Without the tank the thing measures 15.5" (39.37cm) L x 3" (7.62cm) W x 3.375" (8.57cm) H and is equipped with lights and sound. Our next post will look at the tank and its packaging.
