Of the four vehicles Payton offered, only the Jeep had provisions for towing the howitzer even though that would have been prototypically incorrect. In real life the howitzer would have been too heavy for the jeep to pull and Payton should have at least designed the Troop Carrier Truck to do the heavy work.

The box art for Payton's #2000 set, refers to this piece as an 'anti-aircraft' gun, but you'd be hard pressed to shoot down any aircraft with one of these.
