Okay, let's make one thing clear, the U.S. Army doesn't fly fighter jets. They got out of the fighter plane business when the Air Force split from them in 1947 to become a separate service. But, as we've noted on this blog more often than I care to count, toy companies have a habit of playing fast and loose with the facts and they never let the facts get in the way of producing a cool toy. The toy itself doesn't appear to follow any prototype aircraft that I could determine and seems to follow the vague outlines of several different planes. But hey, in the end analysis it goes back to what I always say - it's just a toy. It measures 5" (12.7cm) L x 4 3/4" (12.06cm) wingspan x 1 1/4" (3.17cm) H. Play and Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
