The fleet of small plastic ships is growing with the addition of this nifty little battleship from Thomas Toy. The toy was probably made late '40s to mid-'50s but it's design harkens back to the Dreadnoughts of an earlier time as evidenced by those rounded off turrets on the ship sides. Maybe, with those single gun main turrets it could be a heavy cruiser. The toy measures 6 1/2" (16.51cm) L x 1 3/8" (3.49cm) W x 1 1/8" (2.85cm) H and probably would have had a nice bright white hull when new, but like so many white plastic toys of yore it has discolored to an off-white/cream. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
