Ed's Travelogue: Nashville, Tennessee Ryman Auditorium (Grand Olde Opry), Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and a Grand Banjo Pickin' Time April 1978

Last installment for the Nashville, TN leg of our journey. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Okay, in all fairness we saw the Capitol building yes - but only from the outside. One of those drive by and ooh-and-ahh kind of things...

...on the other hand we did take the Ryman Auditorium tour. Ryman Auditorium was the former home of the Grand Ole Opry. The funnest part - also the campiest - was the tour group standing on the stage and having to sing "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..." hahahahahaha

Another drive by opportunity. We saw it, but didn't go in it

This was a cool place to visit - The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Again, with SX-70 film rationing I only took pics of Elvis Presley's Cadillac :-)

Soooo, we were ready to call it a day and head out of Nashville. We found this little restaurant cum antique store and man-oh-man was it fun! As we sat and ate our food there were two (three??) - I don't remember now but believe it was actually three young boys playing guitar and banjo. I estimate they were perhaps 13-16 years old and WOW! could those young guys play! I loved every second of it!
