Gosh, before I forget again, I meant to post this photo at the start of the Lido spaceship series but totally blew it off. Anywho, these Lido spaceships were designed to be hooked together into a train-like toy. You probably noticed the hooks when perusing the photos but it is nice to actually see it assembled as such. This really brings to home that these toys were meant for little kids back in the day, and yet here we are some 70 years on and they are still being enjoyed (albeit by slightly older kids 😂 )
