Britains Deetail WWII Bombed Buildings Set #4731 (1977)

I can't believe I waited this long to post these photos taken back in 2018. As a fatter-of-mact, these were taken before I started keeping track of my photos in log books, so that means I don't have any dimensions recorded for the buildings. Oh well. This 'BOMBED BUILDINGS SET' is one of two that Britains made for their Deetail line. The larger companion is called 'BATTLEGROUND' (set No. 4715) and is comprised of everything you see here BUT had a large vacu-formed base with road, bunker, sandbag emplacements, and a total of ten figures. I do not have that set unfortunately. However, this downsized version is quite nice all by itself. It consists of:

-two bombed out buildings in thinly molded hard plastic (much like Airfix buildings from that era)

-two fence pieces

-one sign

-one traffic light

-two figures

This will be the last Britains Deetail WWII post for a while. Except for the Jeep, motorcycle, and recoilless rifle team, I have no Britains Deetail U.S. Infantry figures! Now how the heck did that happen!? Also, as stated in a previous post, I've stopped collecting Pacific Theater of War stuff years ago so there won't be any PTO toys posted - at least for now. In the meantime, we'll look at some other WWII stuff.

Enjoy! Opa Fritz
