Distinguishable from the Beetle in that it has a spine on its back, the Spider was the second medium sized bug in the Horrible Hamilton's line. It measures: 6.5" (16.51cm) L x 5.5" (13.97cm) W x 3" 7.62cm) H. I amassed three of these with only one being cosmetically intact with complete pincers and antennae - however, the pull-string mechanism is INOP. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
On the background card one can just make out the words "SNAPPING SPIDER".
I wonder: on a fully intact, fully operational Spider, do the pincers open and close while the bug is moving forward? Anyone out there know?

You can see the string from the pull-string mechanism dangling from the hole in the bottom of the bug. It should be sticking out of a grommeted hole in the back end.
