Back on July 31, 2016 I posted a set of photos for a Jeep and Cannon I identified as Payton. Wrong! They are Marx. Thanx to Anonymous Reader who pointed that out. Interestingly enough, those exact same photos were posted nearly a year later (July 31, 2017) in the post 'Marx Navarone Giant Playset Howitzer'. In the later post they were correctly identified.
I noticed there were only two posts back then related to the smaller Payton Army toys, and then I quit. Sooo, why didn't I follow up on the Payton's? You already know that answer: I got distracted. However, I have been acquiring more Payton Army toys in an effort to do a proper series and not the half-bass-ackward posts I did nine years ago. That series I hope to start posting in the next month or so.
As the Blogger program will not allow me to edit that earlier post with a correction, I'll have to be content with this update. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed
