Musket and Flintlock Pistol Props from 'The Alamo' Starring Dennis Quade and Billy Bob Thornton

I bought these about 18 years ago and finally got around to photographing them. These were sold as props from 'The Alamo' starring Dennis Quade and Billy Bob Thornton. But here's the problem: I can't prove it. I cannot find the COA or receipts anywhere (at least not yet), but I am still looking. These are non-firing replicas, as the barrels are plugged. The ramrods are made of wood instead of metal and the patch box is simulated by a one-piece decorative plate. However, the hammer's can be cocked back, locked in place, and 'fired' just like a toy gun.

Underside showing how the ramrod is stored

The musket measures 42" (106.68cm) L, the ramrod 19" (48.26cm) L

The patch and simulated flint in place.

Simulated patch box. On real muskets, this was hinged and could be opened to reveal storage for patches.

The flintlock pistol measures 12.25" (31.11cm) L, the ramrod 5" (12.7cm) L
