Premier sold these figures in sets which sometimes included one of their now iconic spaceships, specifically the 5" narrow-hulled ship I called the 'Dart' when posting these way back in 2013. Premier had designed the ships with 'pads' on either side of the hull, just over the outboard engines flanking the fuselage. Those 'pads' were meant to allow the figures to stand upright - although you still needed both hands to hold everything in place if you were pretending fly around space with these. During the past few days we've been looking at Pose 3 of these spacemen and it just so happens I have a silver 5" spaceship with a Pose 3 figure glued on to the pad, so I might as well show you what the two look like paired up. When I bought this many years ago, the figure was already glued to the spaceship by a previous owner. Note, that when these were sold new, the two would have been separate pieces.
