Premier Products Co. of Brooklyn N.Y 3" (76mm) Flash Gordon / Supersonic Aces Spacemen - Pt 1

We start another mini-series today:  Premier Products Co. of Brooklyn N.Y Flash Gordon / Supersonic Aces Spacemen.

From April - August 2013, after exhaustive research, I published a series of posts of Premier Flash Gordon spaceships and the various knock-offs I had found over the years. On 13 Dec 2014, I made one lone post featuring several of the Premier spacemen in transparent plastic (plus one pose in a solid green color)...

...then I quit.

The line of spacemen were meant to be companion posts to the spaceship series, but only the one post was ever published. My collection was incomplete and I was (you guessed it) - distracted. However, over the years I have been busy acquiring some more examples and taking photos but wasn't yet prepared to publish for the blog. Welll, it's time to put these out there for you all to enjoy! Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed

Per "BLAST OFF! Rockets, Robots, Ray Guns, and Rarities from The Golden Age of Space Toys!" by S. Mark Young, Steve Duin, and Mike Richardson (Dark Horse Comics, Inc. publisher, copyright 2001):

"Premier Products produced the only 1950's plastic Flash Gordon figure set"

and

"The figures were also repackaged as Supersonic Aces, which could stand on the wings of the five-inch rockets."

The book also shows a photo with the four figures we'll be zeroing in on in the next week.

Looking at the below photo from Toy Soldier HQ, you can see that there are four basic poses to the line. I don't know what's going on with that guy on the far right though. It's the same pose as the four next to him, but it appears as if the tooling/molds had been re-done because the details are off and he appears a bit shorter. (Spoiler alert: I do not have that example in my collection.)

These are the four poses we'll be covering over the next week or so with some color variations thrown in.
