No battlefield would be complete without barbed wire obstacles of some sort and Marx accommodated that need by making fence pieces as well as concertina wire and a beach obstacle (which will be in a separate post). While the fence pieces could be joined end-to-end to make one long fence, the concertina wires were stand-alone pieces. Marx made them both in silver and dark gray soft vinyl plastic. I believe repo fence pieces were also made in a dark gray SP. The concertina wire was packaged flat and required the owner to fold them into a round shape. Finding them in original flat condition is very difficult and once they've been bent, the plastic tends to hold that curve in its 'memory'. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed
