Today wraps up two different series as we post the final installment of the Marx 45mm 1st Series GI's and then wrap up our look at HG Toys Alien Attack Playset.
Each new space set from HG Toys brought new figures, or spaceships, or diorama pieces and this one was no exception. HG included a nice vacu-form terrain piece (which unfortunately I do not have), as well as this cool mountain fortress / space port cardboard diorama.

The cardboard spaceship is removable as shown in the photos further below.
The diorama measures: 13.25" (33.65cm) W x 8" (20.32cm) D x 12" (30.48cm) H with rocket 7.125" (18.09cm) H w/o rocket
Rocket: 7.25" (18.41cm) H x 5.25" (13.33cm) wingspan

The figures show the relative size of the diorama
The spaceship can be folded to stand up on its own but I didn't want to mess with it
Diorama Set-ups
These photos were an attempt to show what the cardboard diorama would look like when paired with my diorama board. A little Photoshopping helped some, but the brighter cartoony colors of the HG pieces are a bit too much of a contrast with the more muted tones of the diorama board.
I do like this one the best. Is that comet dust? Snow? Whatever you want it to be.
