21st Century #20205 U.S. 81mm Mortar Pit (2007) - Pt 1

So far, this is the fourth 21st Century set I've identified with the same item number: 20205. 21st Century offered a U.S. mortar pit as well as a German one, both of which were packaged in these blister packs. This particular 'pit' is really nothing more than a small, semicircular pile of sandbags. The German pit is far more substantial as you'll see hopefully by next week. The mortar included in the 21st Century set appears to be the small M1 81mm mortar in use from WWI until about 1950.  The set includes the mortar, sandbag 'pit', and three figures: squad leader, GI passing shells, and loader. 21st Century did some odd things with their packaging by first offering sets in boxes, then in blister packs. Over the years I've had my mortar pit sets in both, however, only the blister pack packaging was photographed
