***CORRECTION TO YESTERDAY'S POST***
Yesterday I mentioned that repo Centurion tanks were available from Victory Buy
THEY ARE NOT
The only Payton remakes available are the M42 Duster which we'll start covering in a couple of days. Yes, I know the TCA article did mention how to spot repos but I haven't yet found a source that's actually selling reproductions. At the moment, Victory Buy is not selling repos of the Centurion.
That begs the question: who was making and selling repos back in the day? The TCA article is quite old as it mentions how 'rare' originals are, when in fact, during the eBay era, prices have gone down significantly to only a few dollars per tank.

This may appear to be the exact same tank posted yesterday, but it is actually a second tank that is distinctly lighter in shade. When the two are together up close and personal out in The Cave it's easy to see the difference, but with photo editing they are close in color tone.
Yesterday's post included an article on telling an original from a repo. To do that the turret must be separated from the hull. I do NOT recommend doing that! The plastics are often times too brittle and you risk breaking the tank. However, often times the turrets do come off real easy, so if it slips off without resistance then go for it.
