I recently (like two days ago) acquired some Payton salesman sheets with photos of quite a few sets on them. Of all the sets shown, only one - Set No. 422A - had a clear enough picture of the bazooka. It appears in the far upper left and appears to show a Marx-style bazooka, not the shorter/truncated version I postulated as Payton.
