I had bought these four Micky D's Flintstones gadgets loose over a period of time and purchased them without the original packaging - most likely because they were cheaper (in retrospect I should've held out and waited for them to become available mint-in-bag). I recently found out that these were sold by McDonald's Australia, Ltd. which adds another dimension to my collecting! (BTW, I went back and changed the blog post titles for the past two days to reflect 'Australia').
If I remember correctly, this was called the 'Dicta-bird' (the stone age equivalent of a dictation machine) and was in Mr. Slates office in the movie??? Also, like many of the gadgets that talked, I believe this guy was a tad snarky - it's been so long since I've seen the movie I don't remember any more. If anyone knows what this was really meant to be called let me know please.
