This was originally posted back in 2013 but quite frankly, it was a half-assed post with the toy still in its original packaging and not taken out for a decent photo essay. Time to rectify that. We now have the toy outside of its blister pack and photographed in all its glory. It measures 5" (12,7cm) L x 3.5" (8.89cm) W x 3.5" (8,89cm) H and features a nice roll-back spring motor allowing it to zoom across the kitchen floor. I do find it a bit odd that Boley decided to put Barney in what is normally considered Fred's car, but hey, it's just a toy.

Packaging Art
One of the things about blister packs is that they often times conceal some nice artwork beneath that plastic bubble. You can't remove the plastic without also messing up some of that artwork so you end up with something like this.
After a few minutes (like an hour and a half) in Photoshop, I now have a bit of nice Flintstones artwork. Company artists who design packaging really deserve a bit more credit than we give them. This certainly isn't the greatest of mods but it's a fun look at our Stone Age Family on the move.
The Toy
Scale-wise this is one of the largest Flintstones toys that I have.
